In 1999, AEC saw the potential of bringing 20th century advances to their business of real property tax management consulting. AEC expertly leveraged new technological possibilities and transformed the manual process of property tax data collection and analysis into a new, powerful and efficient software technology tool. This new tool assisted the AEC consultants by saving them time, reducing clutter, streamlining the paperwork, leading to improved efficiencies and even more focused and successful tax appeal engagements.

In 2001 Rethink Solutions Inc. was formalized and one of RSI's first tasks was to continue the ongoing development and enhancement of the software solution. At this time the software that was originally designed for a client-server environment was modified to take advantage of the Internet as a fully web based version. The name of this software solution was then changed to iTAM Link - (iTAM) Internet Tax and Assessment Management.

iTAM Link remained solely an internal software tool and aid for AEC until 2005 when RSI realized that iTAM Link could directly benefit end-users just as it had tremendously benefited AEC since the software's inception. The rest as they say is history as more and more end-user clients subscribe to the iTAM Link Software. Since then, iTAM Link has received another very strong endorsement, this one from the International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) (www.ipti.org).

IPTI is an organization that was created by industry experts to promote and to foster property taxation and assessment ideals internationally. IPTI recognizes the power of iTAM Link's global capabilities and the value to many international organizations to have access to such a business solution.

In 2008 Rethink Solutions will continue to evolve as a solution provider, we will do this by always listening to our customers wherever they are located, and by rethinking the way business is done in order to serve a company's evolving requirements to remain competitive.
