Rethink Solutions Inc. is dedicated to providing a level of customer support that ensures that each iTAM Link customer meets or exceeds their goals in using iTAM Link. When contacted for support we are not only interested in addressing our customer’s question, but also in learning how we can further enhance iTAM Link. For iTAM Link, listening to customers’ results in 7-10 additional software releases each year.

Our goal is to continue to make iTAM Link as efficient and simple to use as possible. Real and Personal Property tax and assessment management can be very detailed and data intensive, therefore, we strive to educate our customers in the most convenient forum regarding the most productive use of iTAM Link and property tax and assessment management.

To this end, RSI provides iTAM Link users with email and telephone support both on technical and non-technical issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. We currently manage our property taxes and assessment using Excel.  Is there are way to import this data in to iTAM Link and can we continue to maintain this data using Excel? 
    When a new client decides to implement iTAM Link as their property tax and assessment management solution Rethink Solutions will take the lead in migrating/loading all pertinent client data from existing electronic formats (including Excel) into iTAM Link, and ensure a suitable structure. This initial setup affords our clients with the opportunity to create effective groupings, divisions and labeling of properties in their portfolio to allow for detailed and segregated analysis. Furthermore, using the iTAM Link Data Manager, data is easily maintained on an ongoing basis using built-in Excel like grids and by copying data to/from Excel.
  2. How many people can use iTAM Link at a time?
    There is no limit to how many uses can access iTAM Link – we encourage you to extend the solution throughout your organization.
  3. How do you ensure our data is secure?
    Since your information is stored with us, we are responsible for providing the best security possible for your data. Our state-of-the-art SAS70 Certified data centers meet most industry compliance standards required for hosted applications.Software as a Service offers a great advantage when it comes to security. When making the decision between hosting In-house and Software as a service, the question you should ask is, “Can we ensure our own security?” If the answer is “no” or you are concerned by the complexities behind the compliance standards you require, please give us a call and let us know your needs. We can work with you to provide an iTAM Link solution that meets your specific security standards.
  4. How many years data do you maintain in iTAM Link?
    There is currently no limit on the amount of data clients can store in iTAM Link. Some of our clients have more than 10 years of data loaded in iTAM Link.
  5. How do you provide training?
    Training is instructor lead and can be provided on location or via the Internet.
  6. Will iTAM Link help control my costs?
    You bet it will!  iTAM Link’s advanced menu-driven reports will help you see where all the money goes.
  7. I am in the oil and gas industry.  Is iTAM Link a fit for our organization?
    iTAM Link already has several clients in the oil and gas industry.  But iTAM Link isn’t just for oil and gas.  Any company that deals in property tax can benefit from iTAM Link.
  8. What happens if we discontinue your services?
    Although we have yet to have a client discontinue the iTAM Link service we would encourage you to communicate with us your concerns and/or issues before making a final decision. In the event there is a parting of ways all client data contained within the iTAM Link software will be returned in a usable electronic format and at your request all data is permanently deleted from our servers and backups.
