Data Management involves the planning, development, implementation, and administration of systems for the acquisition, storage, analysis and retrieval of data; including the activities of strategic data planning, data element standardization, information management control, data synchronization, data sharing, and database development.
Typically, the data an organization utilizes remains relatively stable and constant, while only the methods of analysis and measurement change. The challenge of data management and analysis is in acquiring and using the know-how and knowledge of how to put this very data together in meaningful ways.
As a result, RSI designs processes and concepts based on an organization's data and business process requirements. We plan and build the structure of data (what exists, not how it exists), by examining the associations and relationships between data entities and elements, and by exposing redundancies and inconsistencies within data and data models. This methodology enables us to improve the quality of information systems, reduce associated maintenance costs, and eliminate data redundancy.
Our widely used solutions rely heavily on our core principles and concepts to effective data management, which include:
- Data Policies
- Data Life Cycle & Processes
- Data Quality
- Data Access and Retrieval
- Data Security and Storage
- Data Analysis, Audit and Quality Control
