ETL Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic ETL Developer to join our growing SaaS organization. The ETL Developer will work closely with our software developers and client onboarding teams to build tools and write scripts focused on transitioning data from different systems into our property tax software, itamlink.

The primary focus of the ETL developer will be to create tools to facilitate data inputs and transformations from external sources. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to design and create their own tools as well as model and extract data via SQL scripts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Write conversion scripts based on data mapping documentation to import new customer data.
  • Develop tools to assist with data conversion between external systems and our product, itamlink.
  • Develop tools within itamlink to assist with large data manipulations.
  • Assist the Customer Success Team with data mapping and onboarding of new customers.
  • Insert, update and remove database data on request.
  • Analyze sets fo data using statistical methods to generate useful queries and reports.
  • Develop data analytics to gather insight into operations and customer behavior.
  • Assist with the design and development of API’s to facilitate data exchange.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PostgresSQL RDBMS.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Java.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel including VBA.
  • Ability to analyze key performance indicators/metrics.
  • Ability to perform critical thinking in the area of data analysis.
  • Flexible, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Desired Skills & Abilities

  • Real Estate and/or knowledge of Property Tax & Assessment
  • Statistical skills and knowledge of a variety of analytical approaches to apply to different problems.
  • Prior experience working with and/or designing APIs.
  • Experience with data science libraries such as scikit-learn or tensorflow, etc.
