We are looking for an Account Executive who aligns with our vision and goals, and who is excited and motivated to help our market “rethink” the way they manage property taxes. The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, and has a methodical approach to prospecting and developing new business opportunities.


Job Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for finding, developing, and closing new business within the North American market. We are looking for a smart and ambitious sales professional, preferably with experience in the commercial real estate and/or proptech/cretech space.

You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with seasoned professionals along with our customer success and marketing teams. You will have direct and regular access to the Executive team and have a tangible impact on our sales process.

The AE will be compensated through a competitive base pay and un-capped commissions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by prospecting - through research, conducting market analysis, networking, and referrals.
  • Source new leads through cold calling/prospecting
  • Drive the entire sales process from targeting prospects, identifying solutions, and conducting software demonstrations, to negotiating, and closing.
  • Make prospecting an integral part of your regular routine ensuring new prospects are being added to the sales funnel on an ongoing basis
  • Work to identify and understand a prospect’s critical business needs and how they align with Rethink’s software and services.
  • Conduct virtual and live software demonstrations and presentations.
  • Provide standard sales metrics including forecasting, pipeline, funnel, engagement plans and other reports as necessary in a timely manner.
  • Work with sales team to share ideas and new business development strategies.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with preferred focus in business, finance, technology, or marketing.
  • 3+ years of Account Executive experience in a SaaS organization
  • Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contracts over a sustained period while exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience selling complex SaaS products that impact multiple departments of a business to all levels of an organization
  • Commercial real estate and/or proptech/cretech experience considered an asset
  • Ability to effectively execute sales strategies using a consultative approach and relationship building techniques.
  • A proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to understand and demonstrate technical software to prospects.
  • Polished and charismatic with have the ability to communicate well with a variety of different decision-makers
