About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic Full Stack Python Developer, with Data Science experience to join our growing SaaS organization.

Job Description

The Python Developer will be a member of our Data Capture and Analytics team and work closely with the rest of our software development teams to build tools focused on getting data and insights into and out of our property tax software, itamlink. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to develop across multiple custom applications and will need to design and implement data models and analytics to extract business intelligence.

Main Responsibilities

Learn, understand and develop for our data capture product(s), itamlink capture
Insert, update and remove database data on request
Analyze sets of data using statistical methods to generate useful queries and reports
Develop data analytics to gather insight into operations and customer behaviour
Assist with the design and development of AI and NLP models to augment our itamlink and itamlink capture products

Skills & Requirements

Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
3+ years of overall experience in Python
3+ years experience building end-to-end web applications
2+ years of professional experience with python Flask/Django frameworks
Experience in Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure
Experience in responsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning, browser behaviour and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
Proficient in machine learning libraries and scientific calculation such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
2+ experience in a deep learning CNN, NLP and deep learning framework such as Tensorflow, PyTorch or other
Experience with source code management such as git
Exposure to Agile development methodologies and participation in code reviews
Creative, self-motivated and driven
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in technical analysis, problem solving, communication and client service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
